Reg's Tree Service

About Reg's Tree Service

When the Santa Ana wind pours out of the canyons above Tustin it comes through in the dark, and by morning half the block has eucalyptus limbs across the driveway. Reg's Tree Service answers that morning: storm damage cleanup, the drive opened first, then the slower business of judging what is still sound. In easier weeks the work is tree trimming and pruning — the old pepper trees near Old Town, the ficus that has gone looking for the sidewalk, the windrows out toward Peters Canyon. Tree removal is done where roots and structures have stopped agreeing, in sections, with the ground left bare and swept. Orange County light is generous, and a well-shaped tree gives it back as shade all summer long.
