Mercado’s Lawn Service

About Mercado’s Lawn Service

Corona was drawn as a circle, and Grand Boulevard still carries the morning around it, three miles of shade and driveways waking up one by one. Mercado's Lawn Service works that ring and the neighborhoods it holds, mowing while the air is still cool enough to smell like cut grass instead of asphalt. There is a real satisfaction in the first pass of the day: the wheel lines laid straight, the edge along the walk cut clean enough to run a finger down. Lawns here take the sun hard from May to October, so trimming and blowing get done with the same care as the cut, because a tidy strip of curb is what a house shows the street. By the time the boulevard fills with traffic, the yards behind it are already squared away.
