About Bautista Landscaping

October in the Clayton Valley arrives sideways — warm afternoons, cold stars, and valley oaks letting go a little at a time. Bautista Landscaping works Concord's east side through that long drop, mowing while growth slows, clearing leaves before they mat down and smother the turf, feeding the lawn for the wet months ahead. Trimming and edging hold the definition when everything else in the yard is going soft and brown. When the first real storm rolls in off the coast, the grass is ready to take the water and turn it into color. By February the yard is emerald, and all that autumn work looks like luck.
