About 187weeds

Winter rain moves through Colton fast, and a week later the ground answers — mustard and foxtail rising along fence lines, ditches and the gravel margins down by the Santa Ana River bottom. 187weeds works that turning point, pulling and treating what wants to take a yard back before it goes to seed. Mowing follows, then edging, until a lawn reads clean again from the sidewalk. There is a plain satisfaction in a strip of grass that ends in a straight line instead of a tangle. The work carries on through the long dry stretch too, when the weeds get stubborn and the grass needs the closer attention.
