About Grass Roots Tree Services

Spring in Colfax arrives loud, the creeks running full toward the American River and the black oaks leafing out weeks after the pines gave up waiting on them. Grass Roots Tree Services uses that season for shaping: pruning young trees into good habits, trimming crowns back off the eaves, clearing out whatever the winter finished. Removal on a foothill lot means working around the slope and the fence and the leach field, one section at a time, with the ground protected underneath. After a wind or a soaking storm the crew returns for the debris, and the place goes back to looking like a yard again. Trees given a little attention each year are the ones still standing after the hard winters.
