Just Turf

About Just Turf

Dawn in high summer is the only cool hour Clayton gets, and it belongs to the sprinklers — that soft ticking over the lawns while the sky above the community park is still pink. Just Turf lives inside that hour. The name says it plainly: this is grass work — mowing, edging, aeration, feeding, the whole discipline of turf in a valley where July asks a great deal of it. While the surrounding hills go the color of cut wheat, a well-kept Clayton lawn becomes the greenest thing in sight, and keeping it that way is the entire job. Just Turf keeps it that way.
