Simple Scape

About Simple Scape

East of the freeway, the newer streets of Chula Vista were drawn with a ruler — long curbs, square front lawns, sidewalks that run true toward San Miguel Mountain. Simple Scape works in that same clean geometry, mowing a straight even nap and cutting the edge so the grass stops exactly where the concrete begins. Midday sun out toward Otay Ranch is unforgiving and shows every missed pass, which is precisely why the last lap around a yard gets walked slowly. Trimming around the mailbox post, the hose bib, the young street tree; then everything blown back onto the turf and off the drive. The name says it plainly: a yard that looks like somebody thought about it, and nothing more complicated than that.
