About Daniel Morfin gardening & landscaping

In June the jacarandas over Castle Park let go all at once and the lawns go purple overnight, as if someone spilled a bolt of cloth down the street. Daniel Morfin gardening & landscaping rakes that up, mows what is underneath, runs an edge along the walk, and cuts the hedges back to a shape the house can live with. There is a particular rhythm to gardening the older west-side blocks — narrow yards, mature trees, fences close enough that every line shows. Beds are weeded by hand, clippings go with the truck, and the sidewalk gets swept before anyone leaves. A week later the petals are down again; the work is a conversation, not an event.
