THE LANDSCAPER GUYS

About THE LANDSCAPER GUYS

Weekend afternoons over Chino you will hear a radial engine somewhere above the neighborhood, an old plane out of the airfield turning wide over the tracts and the fields before it comes back around. Underneath all of that, THE LANDSCAPER GUYS work the yards: mow, edge, trim, rake the beds out and load the green waste up before the light goes. Cleanups are the best part, a yard that has gotten away from somebody, shaggy at the fence line and buried in leaves, put back in order in a single afternoon. The before and after is not subtle, and neither is the relief on a homeowner's face. Chino is a working town, and a yard here ought to look like somebody works on it.
