About Innovative Landscapes

August on the valley floor is a physical fact — heat stacked against the San Gabriels, the light gone white, the afternoon asking a yard for more water than it should need. Innovative Landscapes takes that as a design problem: drought-tolerant plantings, gravel and decomposed granite where turf was only ever struggling, shade placed where people actually sit. Where lawn stays, it stays deliberately, mowed and fed and watered on a schedule that matches the weather rather than the calendar. Irrigation gets rebuilt to put water at roots instead of on sidewalks. The result is a Chino yard that looks alive in the month that tests everything.
