About Donner Summit Property Maintenance

Long freight trains thread Beckwourth Pass just outside Chilcoot, their horns echoing off the hills on clear autumn afternoons. Donner Summit Property Maintenance looks after properties in this high crossroads country, where wind pours down off the pass and leaves, needles and tumbled brush pile up against every fence. Fall here is the season of getting ready: lawns cut back a final time, debris cleared out, yards put in order while the days are still mild. There is deep contentment in looking across a cleared property at sunset, the sagebrush hills going violet and everything in its place. When the hard cold comes down from the mountains, the place is buttoned up and waiting.
