About Chilcutt Landscape

Chilcoot sits where the Sierra gives way to sage, at the eastern edge of the broad Sierra Valley, and summer mornings here smell of both pine and cut hay. Chilcutt Landscape works this high, dry country, mowing lawns, shaping beds and landscaping homes where the growing season is short and the sun is strong. At close to five thousand feet every bit of green is hard won, and a yard kept trim against open range feels like a small victory. Early light comes clean across the valley floor, and a fresh-cut lawn catches it like water. In a place this wide open, a sharp edge and a tidy bed can be seen from a long way off, and that is exactly how the work is meant to look.
