Leonard's Landscape

About Leonard's Landscape

Big Chico Creek runs green under the sycamores at One-Mile, and the neighborhoods that fan out from it keep their lawns the way the creek keeps its course — week after week, without fuss. Leonard's Landscape works those blocks with mower, edger and trimmer, then clears the clippings so the walk reads clean from the porch all the way to the street. Spring on the valley floor arrives fast and generous, and the grass answers louder than anyone expects; somebody has to keep pace with it. There is a plain satisfaction in a yard cut even, its borders true, its beds free of the weeds that ride in on a valley wind. That is the work, repeated, for homes across Chico and the towns nearby.
