Abe's Yard Clean-Up

About Abe's Yard Clean-Up

Summer mornings in Chico start before the heat does, when the water at Sycamore Pool is still glass and the sidewalks have not warmed through. That is the hour Abe's Yard Clean-Up gets moving: truck loaded, dew still on the blades, a yard waiting to be handed back its shape. Overgrown corners get opened up, the grass comes down even, and the edges are cut true along every walk and driveway. Then the debris goes — raked, gathered, carried off — so nothing is left but a lawn that can breathe again. By the time the neighborhood is out with hoses, the work is finished and the place simply looks looked-after.
