About Trinidad Gardening

Summer here means starting at five, before the thermometer climbs, when the sprinklers have just shut off and the whole block smells like wet granite. Trinidad Gardening runs its Cathedral City routes in that window — mow, edge, trim, blow the walks, pull the weeds off the beds before the day turns hard. Lawn feeding is timed to the heat, because grass in this valley is asked to do something grass elsewhere never has to. By the time the sun is over the rooftops the trucks have moved on and the yards look like nobody had to work that hard for them. Somebody did.
