The wind that pours through the San Gorgonio Pass does not stop at Palm Springs; it comes down the valley floor and leans on every tree in Cathedral City until something gives. Francisco's Tree Service and Care spends a good part of the year answering it, pruning deadwood out before it turns into a projectile, trimming crowns so the gusts move through instead of against, and cleaning up on the mornings when nobody got there first. Tamarisk rows, date palms and the big canopy over a back patio each ask for a different cut. A removal comes down in measured sections so nothing lands on the block wall. What gets left behind is a swept yard and a tree ready for the next blow.
