About Maplewood Landscaping, Inc.

Most afternoons the wind comes down the Salinas Valley and finds Castroville, carrying the smell of cool earth and cut fields across town. Maplewood Landscaping, Inc. mows with that wind in mind — turf cut clean and low, hedges squared so there is nothing loose for a gust to undo. In a town ringed by row crops, a home lawn is a small green argument for staying put, and the crew makes it every week. The work runs from mowing and trimming to weed control and full yard cleanups, in Castroville and out toward Marina, Salinas, and Watsonville. When the wind dies at dusk, what is left is order: straight lines, clean beds, a yard ready for whatever tomorrow blows in.
