ABC Yard and Lawn Care

About ABC Yard and Lawn Care

Castro Valley Creek runs open through the middle of town, a thin green seam under the sycamores just off the Boulevard, and the yards nearby seem to take their cue from it. ABC Yard and Lawn Care keeps those lawns mown, edged and blown clean, clippings gathered and gone before the afternoon traffic thickens. There is a plain satisfaction in turf that meets a sidewalk in one unbroken line, with no ragged fringe and no green dust left on the concrete. Summer here asks for patience, all long dry light and grass that grows slow, while the wet months ask the opposite, when everything wakes at once and wants cutting again by the weekend. Either way the promise holds: come back, cut it right, leave the block neater than it was an hour ago.
