About Francisco Gardening Services

Late afternoon on Foothill Road, the light comes in low across the avocado orchards and every blade of grass throws its own shadow. That is when a lawn shows its cut. Francisco Gardening Services works the upper edge of the valley, where yards run right up against the orchard rows and the hillside brush — cutting turf, edging, trimming hedges and shrubs, and hauling the trimmings out. When a sundowner wind drops off the mountains in the evening it finds dust and loose leaves, and a yard kept clean takes it better. The work is plain enough: keep the grass even, keep the borders sharp, leave the driveway swept.
