A block up from Tamarack there is sand in the gutter year round and the light comes back off the water so brightly that everything looks slightly bleached by four in the afternoon. Sand and Soleil Landscape works in that glare — mowing turf that takes full sun all day, edging where the lawn meets warm concrete, planting and shaping the tough, low-water things that hold up between the beach and the yard. Trimming and cleanup close out each visit, sand swept back where it belongs. The reward is a small coastal yard that stays crisp instead of surrendering to the summer. Planting and upkeep for houses within earshot of the surf.
