About American Landscaping & Tree Trimming Services

Come October the wind in Carlsbad turns around and pours down from the east — dry, warm, impatient — and the old eucalyptus windbreaks along the ranch roads start talking. American Landscaping & Tree Trimming Services reads that calendar backward: deadwood out of the canopy, crossing limbs taken, weight lifted off the long horizontal branches before the Santa Anas arrive to test them. The rest of the year the crew keeps to the ground game, mowing, edging, cutting hedges level and hauling the pile away. There is real satisfaction in standing back from a thinned tree and seeing light land on grass that had been in shade for years. Trees above, lawn below, and a yard that handles its own weather.
