Clean and clear

About Clean and clear

The first real rain of October changes the smell of Cameron Park — dust settling, oak leaves letting go, the hills beginning to think about turning green again. Clean and clear works that turn of the year, pulling leaves off lawns and walks before they mat down and mowing while the grass still wants to grow. There is a plain pleasure in a yard raked out and blown down, every corner accounted for. Mowing, edging, trimming, leaf and debris cleanup and clipping removal keep a property tidy from the first storm through the last. Come the wet months, the ground is ready and nothing is buried.
