Ventura County Rock & Mulch

About Ventura County Rock & Mulch

By August the cobbles in Calleguas Creek are pale and dry and the heat comes up off them in the afternoon like a hand on your face. Ventura County Rock & Mulch works with that instead of against it: mow high so the blades shade their own roots, keep the beds mulched deep enough to hold what the sprinklers give them, and let the edges do the tidy work. Rock and mulch go down where a yard is asking for less thirst and more shape, and the lawn that remains gets cut clean every visit. Trimming, weeding and haul-away round out the day. Come the first real winter rain, a yard set up this way drinks it in and greens up fast.
