Pacific Tree

About Pacific Tree

The onshore air reaches Camarillo most afternoons, cool off the water and steady enough that you can watch it move through a row of trees. Pacific Tree spends its days in that air, high in canopies — pruning for structure, lifting a crown away from a roof, taking out the crossing limbs that wear each other down over years. Fog-soft mornings give way to bright hours, and by then the chipper is running and the brush pile is shrinking. Removals get done in careful pieces where there is no room to drop anything, and the stump goes down flush so the ground can be used again. Trees keep a town's shape; this is the work of helping them keep it well.
