About Madsen Landscape Services

Out toward Somis the lots stop being yards and start being acreage — fence lines to keep clear, long grass to knock down, orchard edges that blur into lawn if nobody draws the line. Madsen Landscape Services works at that size, bringing bigger equipment to properties where a push mower is a joke and the driveway alone takes a while. Summer here turns dry grass into a chore best done early, before the heat comes up off the valley floor and the wind picks up. Alongside the rough work there is the fine work: the lawn around the house cut and edged, the beds near the door kept sharp, brush cleared and hauled off entirely. A big property that looks cared for from the road is a particular kind of accomplishment.
