About All Landscaping and Designs

For a few weeks each March the hills around Camarillo turn a green they hold onto and then surrender, and that is exactly when people start picturing what their own ground could become. All Landscaping and Designs takes those half-formed pictures and makes them buildable — a planting plan for a bare side yard, new sod where hardpan used to be, irrigation routed so water reaches roots instead of sidewalk. Out around Village at the Park the lots are generous and the sun is unshaded, which rewards a design that thinks about shade before it thinks about show. Installation is only the opening move; after it come the mowing, the edging, the pruning that carries young plantings through their first dry summer. A yard that used to be an afterthought turns into the room everybody uses.
