About sorias landscapes

Summer dusk in Butte Valley comes slowly, the heat easing off the blue oaks and the dark volcanic rock while the Sacramento Valley floor glows hazy and gold to the west. In these lower foothills of Butte County, sorias landscapes keeps lawns and yards going through long, scorching afternoons and thin, stony soil. The winter rains turn the grassland green for a short, sweet spell before everything goes to straw, so a cared-for yard stands out in the dry months like water in a canteen. Cut low and finished along every border, a lawn here catches the evening breeze and gives the house a cool, settled frame. Details like that make foothill living feel generous.
