Shambhala Landscapes

About Shambhala Landscapes

Just after dawn, before the first cars climb the grade out of Brisbane, the town is nearly silent — only birds on the mountain and the far hum of the freeway below. Shambhala Landscapes starts then, when the work can be unhurried and exact. The name points at what they are after: yards that feel like a place to breathe, not just a strip of grass to mow. So the mowing is done, and done well, but so is the slower work — shaping shrubs by hand, laying mulch smooth, clearing a bed until the soil looks rested. In a town squeezed between a mountain and a bay, a backyard is often the only open ground a family owns, and they treat it that way. The goal is simple: step outside, and feel your shoulders drop.
