Cuba's Tree Service

About Cuba's Tree Service

Brawley works before the heat does. By six in the morning the Imperial Valley is already bright, the alfalfa lies cut and green past the edge of town, and the tamarisk windbreaks throw long stripes across the road. Cuba's Tree Service is out in that early light — removing a mesquite or a palm that has crowded a wall, trimming a canopy open so a yard actually cools down, pruning shaped to survive a hundred-and-fifteen-degree afternoon. Desert wind arrives in a hurry here, and storm damage cleanup means fronds and limbs off the drive, the debris hauled, the property put back in order. Shade is the whole point in a town this hot, and shade worth having is shade worth keeping.
