Nelson's Tree Service

About Nelson's Tree Service

Bodega rests in a fold of the coastal hills, its white clapboard church of St. Teresa of Avila lifting a slim steeple above the village and the grazing land around it. Fog drifts in here on many summer afternoons, and trees that grow thick in that cool, damp air can leave yards dim and mossy. Nelson's Tree Service prunes and thins those canopies so more of the scarce sunshine reaches roofs, gardens and grass, taking out deadwood and shaping each tree to suit its spot. The lawn below gets its share of care so everything under the branches can use the new light. On a bright day between fogs, a well-opened tree lets the sun fall in gold patches across the ground.
