About Professional Tree Services

Blue Lake takes its weather from the ocean and its bones from the Mad River — rain arriving in long gray weeks, alders down along the bottomland, second-growth redwood standing up the hills behind town. Professional Tree Services works in that wet, where the ground stays soft and a leaning trunk has to be read carefully before anyone starts a saw. Removals here are often about a tree that quietly gave up in the middle of a stand; trimming and pruning are about keeping a canopy off a roof that never quite gets a chance to dry. Storm season runs long on the north coast, and cleanup after a blow means a driveway opened, a limb cut off a shed, a yard reclaimed from the wreck of it. When the sun finally breaks over Blue Lake, a tidy property under that big washed sky is a very good thing to look at.
