About Sierra Earthworks, Inc.

An October morning in Blairsden can hold frost on every blade until the sun clears the ridgeline, and the high peaks toward the Lakes Basin may already wear an early dusting. Sierra Earthworks, Inc. works from Bonta Street, near where Highways 70 and 89 come together, and an outfit named for shaping ground knows how to keep a lawn on it looking right. Before the season closes, the last mowing leaves turf neat and even, edges are trimmed back, and yards are left orderly enough to sleep under the snow. Come spring, that groundwork pays off in a lawn that greens up clean. Getting the ground right is what the name promises, and a sharp lawn is simply its most visible piece.
