Castro Tree Service

About Castro Tree Service

Biggs is flat and open, rice checks and orchard rows running out to the horizon, and in winter the tule fog settles so thick the valley oaks appear one at a time. Castro Tree Service works this ground — removals along farm lanes and in town yards, trimming that lifts a canopy clear of a driveway and a shop roof, pruning done in the cold months when the orchards are bare and the light stays soft all day. Valley heat is the other half of the year, and a well-thinned shade tree over a Biggs front porch earns its keep here more than almost anywhere. After a north wind comes through and drops half a cottonwood across a fence, storm damage cleanup restores the fence line and hauls the wood away. Quiet town, plain work, a yard that looks settled again by evening.
