About Fire Risk Management Corp.

Under the Jeffrey pines the duff builds up quietly, season after season — needles, cones, deadfall — until a September wind through the canyon reminds everyone what all that dry material means. Fire Risk Management Corp. works in that space between the forest and the front door, thinning brush, clearing pine litter, and opening defensible space around mountain homes. It is patient, deliberate work: limbing low branches, raking the ground back to mineral soil where it matters most, hauling away what the mountain no longer needs close to a house. A cleared property has its own kind of beauty — you can see through the trees again, and the trees themselves stand healthier for it. They serve homes throughout the Big Bear Valley, where that margin of open ground is worth everything.
