About Tree Removal Berkeley - Tree Service & Certified Arborist

North Berkeley in spring: plum blossom drifting onto the sidewalks, Codornices Creek loud again after the rains, and the coast live oaks around Indian Rock holding their dark green through all of it. Tree health is the first question on most of these blocks — why a canopy thinned this year, what a crack at a branch union really means, whether an old street tree has another good decade in it. Tree care and pruning follow from the answer: deadwood out, weight balanced, cuts placed where the tree can close them over on its own. Sometimes the honest answer is tree removal, and then the job becomes doing it cleanly on a narrow lot with a fence on one side and a neighbor's greenhouse on the other. The best days end with a tree that will still be standing long after the ladder is back on the truck.
