Ponderosa Tree Service

About Ponderosa Tree Service

Many summer evenings in Berkeley, fog spills through the Golden Gate, rolls across the bay and climbs the Berkeley Hills, beading on leaves from the flatlands all the way to the ridge. Ponderosa Tree Service works under that cool, shifting sky from its base on San Pablo Avenue, caring for the trees that shade the city's bungalow blocks and garden yards. Thoughtful pruning lets light and air back into a crowded canopy, lifts limbs clear of roofs and sidewalks, and helps a tree carry its weight through the winter storms that blow in off the Pacific. Lawns underneath get attention too, so the whole yard reads as one composition. In a city this devoted to its gardens, a well-shaped tree is a gift to the entire street.
