About Matt Hornby Garden Design and Construction

March above Cragmont is all recovery — the storms have let up between rounds, the slopes are as green as they will get all year, and every garden is trying to make three months of growth at once. Matt Hornby Garden Design and Construction meets that surge head-on, mowing on a short cycle, re-cutting the edges the winter softened, and clearing beds the rain filled with drop. The ground is still soft, so the work is careful about ruts and footprints, and the mowing waits for the day to dry out. From those streets you can watch weather cross the whole Bay before it arrives, which is a useful way to plan an afternoon. And a garden brought through the wet season tidy and even is set up for the entire dry year ahead.
