About Harkness Gardens Landscaping

The wind at Cesar Chavez Park keeps a schedule of its own — flat calm at breakfast, kites up by two, and by four it comes across the water hard enough to lean into. Harkness Gardens Landscaping works the streets back from the Marina, where that same breeze dries a lawn quickly and scatters anything not tied down. Mowing goes early, before the afternoon builds, then edging, trimming and a full sweep so nothing ends up in the neighbor's yard. Coastal ground grows grass in an odd, patient way, never fast and never stopping, and it rewards a regular hand far more than a heroic one. A yard held to that rhythm looks the same good way in every month of the year.
