Castro’s Hauling

About Castro’s Hauling

Saturday morning on the Gilman side of town, and the sound is mowers, the freight line, and gulls tracking in from the shoreline. Castro's Hauling spends those hours on yard work with an end in mind: everything cut, raked and gone before the day gets warm. Lawns are mowed and edged, overgrown borders trimmed back, and the whole heap of green waste loaded onto the truck rather than left in bags at the curb. In autumn it is leaves, in spring it is growth, and either way the truck goes out full at the end of the day. An empty, swept driveway at the close of a cleanup is its own kind of finish line.
