About Berkeley Landscape Design

Up on Panoramic Hill the lots stack like shelves, each one a terrace cut into the slope with a lawn no bigger than a room and a view that runs all the way out to the Gate. Berkeley Landscape Design works those steep addresses, carrying a mower up steps and reaching the awkward corners no machine gets to on its own. Evening is the finest hour there: the bridge lights come on across the water while the last hedge is being shaped. Grade makes everything slower — edges cut by hand, clippings carried down instead of blown. But a small hillside lawn held level and even, with the beds behind it clean, is worth every trip up and down the stairs.
