Peninsula Tree Care

About Peninsula Tree Care

Fog comes over the ridge above Belmont in the late afternoon and pours down the canyon toward the bay, and the eucalyptus along the hillside streets go silver in it. Peninsula Tree Care works those steep lots — the redwoods planted too close to a foundation, the oak reaching over a deck up near Water Dog Lake. Removal on a slope is patient work, roped and lowered piece by piece so the garden below never knows what happened above it. Trimming and pruning here are mostly about light: opening a crown so a kitchen window gets its morning back, shaping a young tree now so nobody faces a hard decision about it in twenty years. When a winter system comes in off the Pacific and drops a limb across a driveway, cleanup has the pavement usable and the green waste gone before the commute.
