From Belmont's upper streets in the late afternoon, the bay turns to hammered silver past the rooftops, and a tended lawn in the foreground completes the picture. Bay Pointe Landscape looks after that foreground: turf mowed to an even nap, borders kept in line, beds weeded and mulched so the whole frame holds together. Hillside lots here come with their own puzzles — slopes, terraces, retaining walls — and the mowing and trimming are shaped to fit each one. The peninsula climate is generous, green through winter and mild through summer, so the growing rarely stops and neither does the schedule. When the evening light comes in low off the water, the work should look like it belongs there.
