About Bellflower Tree Care Service

Lakewood wakes under a low gray lid most mornings, the marine layer resting over street after straight street until the sun finds a hole in it near ten. Bellflower Tree Care Service moves through those blocks where the parkway trees were set out in rows and have since grown opinions — roots at the sidewalk, branches at the eaves. Trimming here is a question of clearance and light: lifting a canopy off a roof, pruning back toward good structure so the shade lands on the lawn and not in the gutter. Removal comes up when a trunk has outlived its square of parkway, and it comes down in pieces over a driveway with a foot of room on either side. After a winter blow off the San Gabriel River bottom, storm damage cleanup returns the street to its own tidy geometry before dark.
