About Folchi Logging & Construction

Highway 70 runs right through Beckwourth on its way across the Sierra Valley, and at first light the valley floor spreads out flat and silver beneath a ring of timbered ridges. Folchi Logging & Construction is a working outfit based along that highway, and beside the logging and building trades in its name it takes on lawn care for properties in town. Habits from heavier jobs carry over well to a yard: read the ground, work steady, leave the site clean. Grass is cut and trimmed to an even, hardy finish that suits a high-country summer, bright and over almost before it starts. From the road, a well-kept lawn set against all that open land is a small and welcome sign of somebody tending.
