About We Can Do It! Handyman Service

Ask anyone who has stood on Sixth Street on an April afternoon: Beaumont gets its weather sideways, funneled up through the San Gorgonio Pass until the flags stand straight out. So the mowing happens in the calm of the morning, the edging follows the sidewalk in one unbroken line, and everything cut is bagged and closed up before the gusts come to collect it. Up the road in Cherry Valley the orchards go white and then green, and the same warm stretch that wakes the trees wakes every lawn in town, which is exactly when a yard needs somebody keeping after it. Trimming, edging, cleanups — small things done often, so a place reads as looked-after from the street without anyone having to say so. It is plain work and it shows plainly, and that is the pleasure in it.
