Kestrel Landscapes

About Kestrel Landscapes

Out on the ranch road east of town a kestrel will hang over the grass for a full minute, dead still in a wind that never really quits, then drop. Kestrel Landscapes works with the same wind on its face — mowing, edging, trimming, keeping weeds off the margins and running the seasonal cleanups that follow a wet winter. Afternoons here push hard off the bay, so the careful passes get made while the air is calm and the ground is soft. What is left behind is an even lawn, a clean line where the turf stops, and beds that look tended rather than fought over. Yards around Baywood-Los Osos keep their shape that way, one visit to the next.
