Town & Country Tree Services

About Town & Country Tree Services

In Barstow the river runs mostly underground, and the cottonwoods and tamarisk along the Mojave are the visible proof that it is down there. Town & Country Tree Services works that thin green line and the streets off old Route 66 — pruning what the heat has scorched, trimming limbs off roofs and carports, removing the trees the desert has finally outlasted. Summer storms build over the ranges and arrive all at once, laying branches across driveways in a matter of minutes, and the cleanup that follows is fast and thorough. On a hundred-and-ten-degree afternoon a shade tree is not landscaping, it is infrastructure, and it gets treated accordingly. Keeping the ones that made it out here sound and standing is the reason for the truck.
