Turf Groom

About Turf Groom

Bakersfield gave country music its hard-edged Bakersfield Sound, all twang and Telecaster bite, and there is something of that no-nonsense spirit in a lawn cut clean. In October, when the valley heat finally loosens its grip and evenings turn mild, the grass gets a breather too. Turf Groom mows and grooms lawns across Bakersfield, leaving turf even, trimmed and crisp along the walks and drives. A groomed lawn under the long autumn light seems to have been tuned, each blade at the same pitch. It is straightforward work with a satisfying finish, the kind a neighborhood notices.
