About Monji Landscape Companies

Spring runoff comes down the Kern Canyon loud and cold, and for a few weeks the hills out past Lake Ming hold a green they will surrender to gold by June. Monji Landscape Companies runs its Bakersfield work on that same understanding — everything here is timed, and the window for doing a thing well is not wide. Lawns are mowed and edged on rotation, shrubs and hedges are shaped while they are still growing into it, and irrigation is checked before the ground starts asking for more than it's getting. Cleanups clear the yard of what the wind and the season put down. Done in order, the result holds long after the hills have turned.
