About Mejia Tree and Landscaping Services

By October the Tehachapis southeast of town finally sharpen up, the summer haze thins out, and the light across Bakersfield goes long and honest again. That is the season Mejia Tree and Landscaping Services likes for the heavier work — hedges and shrubs cut back into shape, overgrowth pulled out of the fence lines, the yard cleared of everything the long summer dropped. The weekly side keeps going all the same: mowing, edging, trimming, and a clean blow-down of the drive before the crew moves on. Feeding and weed control set the lawn up for a valley winter that is more fog than frost. A yard that gets tidied in fall spends the next year looking like someone is paying attention.
